McConnell and Conservation Leaders Applaud Funding for Kentucky's National Wildlife Refuges
WASHINGTON, May 1 (Sen.) -- Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, issued the following news release on April 29, 2023:
U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), along with the Department of Interior (DOI), announced the funding of $11,372,000 to Green River National Wildlife Refuge in Henderson County and $6,621,000 to Clarks River National Wildlife Refuge in McCracken, Marshall, and Graves Counties.
