House Education & Workforce Committee Issues Report on Protection of Women & Girls in Sports Act
WASHINGTON, April 28 -- The House Education and the Workforce Committee issued a report (H.Rpt. 118-35) on the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act (H.R. 734), which aims to amend the Education Amendments of 1972 to provide that for purposes of determining compliance with Title IX of such Act in athletics, sex shall be recognized based solely on a person's reproductive biology and genetics at birth.
