Angela Amar Named Dean of NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing

NYU President Andrew Hamilton and Interim Provost Gigi Dopico today announced the appointment of Angela Amar, PhD, RN, FAAN, as the dean of the NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing. She begins her new role on August 1, 2023.

Nev. Gov. Lombardo Appoints Clara Andriola To District 4 Seat On Washoe County Commission
CARSON CITY, Nevada, April 6 (TNSper) -- Gov. Joe Lombardo, R-Nevada, issued the following news release:
Governor Lombardo announced that he has appointed Clara Andriola to the Washoe County Commission. Andriola will fill the vacant commission seat representing District 4, which was previously held by Vaughn Hartung. Hartung resigned from the Washoe County Commission in March. Following his resignation, Governor Lombardo appointed Hartung as the Chair of the Nevada Transportation Authority.
