Manning Statement on US Federal Court Decision to Overturn FDA Approval of Medication Abortion Pill
WASHINGTON, April 8 -- Rep. Kathy Manning, D-North Carolina, issued the following news release on April 7, 2023:
Congresswoman Kathy Manning (NC-06) released the following statement on the US District Court case, Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine v. U.S. Food and Drug Administration, which challenged the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) authority to approve the abortion medication, Mifepristone. The case was decided by Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk, appointed by former President Donald Trump.
