Spartz Sends Letter To FTC Commissioner Khan Expressing Concerns With Broad Non-Compete Clause Rule
WASHINGTON, Jan. 14 -- Rep. Victoria Spartz, R-Indiana, issued the following news release and letter:
Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-IN) sent a letter to FTC Commissioner Khan to raise an issue of constitutionality of the proposed Non-Compete Clause Rule to ban all non-compete clauses and preempt state law.
"The government does have a function to provide a proper legal framework to prevent coercion, including to address unreasonable in duration and scope agreements due to non-equal bargaining powers.
