Maine House Democrats: Supica Named House Chair Of Legislature's Veterans And Legal Affairs Committee
AUGUSTA, Maine, Jan. 4 -- The Maine House Democrats issued the following news release:
Rep. Laura Supica, D-Bangor, will serve as House chair of the Legislature's Veterans and Legal Affairs Committee. Having served on the committee for two years, Supica was appointed by House Speaker Rachel Talbot Ross.
The committee oversees policy regarding liquor laws, lottery, off-track betting, election laws, governmental ethics, Department of Defense and the Maine National Guard.
