Brown Secures More Than $1.6 Billion for New Brent Spence Bridge and Corridor Improvements
WASHINGTON, Jan. 4 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH), chairman of the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee, announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded $1.635 billion to the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) to construct a new companion bridge to the Brent Spence Bridge.
