WASHINGTON, Dec. 12 -- Rep. Terri A. Sewell, D-Ala., has introduced legislation (H.R. 9462) to "establish the American Worker Retirement Plan, improve the financial security of working Americans by facilitating the accumulation of wealth." The bill was introduced on Dec. 8 and was co-sponsored by Reps. Lloyd Smucker, R-Pa., Adrian Smith, R-Neb., and Carol Miller, R-W.Va.
