The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity Announces the Jacksonville Area October 2022 Employment Data
JACKSONVILLE, Florida, Nov. 21 (TNSres) -- The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity issued the following news:
Governor Ron DeSantis announced that the Jacksonville area's private sector employment increased by 5.2 percent over the year in October 2022, and led the state in jobs gained in the Professional and Business Services sector in October 2022 with an increase of 12, 700 jobs.
The Jacksonville area unemployment rate was 2.5 percent, down 0.8 percentage point from the year ago rate
