N.C. U.S. Attorney: North Carolina Tax Return Preparer Pleads Guilty to Aiding in Preparation of False Tax Return
GREENSBORO, North Carolina, Oct. 14 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of North Carolina, Sandra J. Hairston, posted the following news release:
A Durham woman pleaded guilty on October 12, 2022, to the charge of aiding and assisting in the filing of a false tax return, announced U.S. Attorney Sandra J. Hairston of the Middle District of North Carolina and Special Agent in Charge Donald "Trey" Eakins of IRS-Criminal Investigation, Charlotte Field Office.
