National Republican Congressional Committee: Golden Accepted Campaign Cash From Seafood Watch Executive Attempting To Shut Down Maine Lobster
WASHINGTON, Sept. 28 -- The National Republican Congressional Committee issued the following news:
Everyone knows Jared Golden is no friend to Maine lobster - including Seafood Watch Executive Julie Packard.
Packard - whose group has warned consumers to avoid Maine lobster to protect the right whale - is a Golden campaign donor.
Packard clearly realizes the issue is also near and dear to Golden's heart, given he's voted multiple times to strengthen the regulatory agency cracking down on lobst
