Rep. Schneider Leads 50 Bipartisan Members in Letter to EPA Advocating for Fair Lead Service Line Replacement Funding
WASHINGTON, Aug. 20 -- Rep. Bradley Schneider, D-Illinois, issued the following news release and letter on Aug. 19, 2022:
Yesterday, Representative Brad Schneider (D-IL) led 50 Democratic and Republican Representatives in sending a letter to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Michael S. Regan urging the agency to allocate Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act funding for lead service line replacement (LSLR) based on the pervasiveness of lead service lines (LSLs) in each state.
