N.C. Natural & Cultural Resources Dept.: Vonda Martin Named Division of Parks and Recreation Grants and Outreach Manager
RALEIGH, North Carolina, June 25 (TNSper) -- The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources issued the following news release on June 24, 2022:
Vonda Martin is the new division of parks and recreation grants and outreach manager, the division announced Friday. Martin succeeds Chris Schmidt, who has served as interim grants and outreach manager since 2018.
The grants and outreach manager supervises the program and staff who administer the Parks and Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF)

University of N.C.-Greensboro Selected for Amazon Career Choice Program
GREENSBORO, North Carolina, June 25 (TNSpar) -- The University of North Carolina Greensboro campus issued the following news on June 24, 2022:
UNC Greensboro and Amazon today announced a new partnership to offer free college tuition to their more than 750,000 hourly employees in the United States.
UNCG is the first institution in the Piedmont Triad region to partner with Amazon on the Career Choice program.
