N.C. State: Textile Filter Testing Shows Promise for Carbon Capture
RALEIGH, North Carolina, June 3 (TNSjou) -- North Carolina State University issued the following news release:
North Carolina State University researchers found they could filter carbon dioxide from air and gas mixtures at promising rates using a proposed new textile-based filter that combines cotton fabric and an enzyme called carbonic anhydrase - one of nature's tools for speeding chemical reactions.

A small, rare crayfish thought to be extinct for 30 years has been rediscovered in a cave in the City of Huntsville in northern Alabama by a team led by an assistant professor at The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH).
