WASHINGTON, May 19 (TNSfund) -- Howard University issued the following news release:
Philanthropists Kenneth and Kathryn Chenault have donated $2 million to Howard University in memory of their longtime friend and mentor, the late Vernon Jordan, to support an endowed chair at the School of Law. The gift for the Vernon E. Jordan Jr., Esq., Endowed Chair will be made to support the recruitment, teaching, research, service and other activities of the professor.

Rep. Davids Announces Funding to Train 30 Public Health and Service Workers in the Kansas 3rd District
WASHINGTON, May 21 -- Rep. Sharice Davids, D-Kansas, issued the following news release on May 20, 2022:
Representative Sharice Davids announced the Unified Government of Wyandotte County will receive $216,000 to establish a Public Health AmeriCorps Program, and Overland Park will receive $139,410 of renewed funding for their AmeriCorps VISTA Program.
