Sen. Moore Capito Introduces Bill on High-Cost Universal Service Program Funding
WASHINGTON, May 5 -- Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., has introduced legislation (S. 4126) to "require the Federal Communications Commission to establish a vetting process for prospective applicants for high-cost universal service program funding."
The bill was introduced on May 3 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
