The Maine House advanced a proposal sponsored by Rep. Amy Roeder, D-Bangor, Tuesday that would help Mainers more easily access emergency supplies of chronic maintenance medications.

Maine Gov. Mills Signs Senate President Jackson's Bill to Keep Maine Veterans' Homes in Caribou and Machias Open
AUGUSTA, Maine, April 1 -- Gov. Janet Mills, D-Maine, issued the following news release on March 31, 2022:
Governor Janet Mills today signed legislation, sponsored by Senate President Troy Jackson and enacted unanimously by the State Legislature, to keep Maine Veterans' Homes in Caribou and Machias open. Governor Mills has proposed $3.5 million in her budget change package, which is also currently being considered by the Legislature, to fund the measure.
