Florida Economic Opportunity Dept. Announces the Jacksonville Area February 2022 Employment Data
JACKSONVILLE, Florida, March 26 -- The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity issued the following news:
Governor Ron DeSantis announced that the Jacksonville area unemployment rate was 2.8% in February 2022, down 2.0 percentage points from the rate of 4.8% in February 2021. The Jacksonville area labor force increased by 3.9% over the year, adding 30,702 people to the workforce.
