University of Maine Art Education Students, Bangor Land Trust Collaborate on Edible Landscape Project
ORONO, Maine, Nov. 5 (TNSRes) -- The University of Maine issued the following news release:
As part of a collaboration with the Bangor Land Trust, the Maine Humanities Council and the Clement and Linda McGillicuddy Humanities Center, art education students at the University of Maine are helping to improve food security for humans and wildlife in Maine by producing outreach materials for a project that is introducing native berry, nut, seed and fruit-producing plants to local preserves.

University of Maine's Black Bear Population Reaches Record High
ORONO, Maine, Nov. 5 (TNSRes) -- The University of Maine issued the following news release on Nov. 4, 2021:
University of Maine President Joan Ferrini-Mundy announced that enrollment at UMaine for the fall 2021 semester is 11,989 students.
The cohort of undergraduate, graduate and early college learners has increased 2.1% from fall 2020, when it was 11,741 students, according to enrollment census data compiled by the UMaine Office of Institutional Research and Assessment.
