Acting Ohio U.S. Attorney: Beavercreek Man Pleads Guilty to Attempting to Travel Overseas to Join ISIS-K
DAYTON, Ohio, Nov. 3 -- The Acting U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio, Vipal J. Patel, issued the following news release on Nov. 1, 2021:
A Beavercreek man who was arrested by the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force at John Glenn International Airport in 2018 while trying to travel to Afghanistan to join ISIS Wilayat Khorasan (ISIS-K) has pleaded guilty in federal court.

Ohio U.S. Attorney Office: Dayton Psychiatric Hospital & Owner Agree to Pay $425,000 to Resolve Claims for Unnecessary Diagnostic Testing
DAYTON, Ohio, Nov. 3 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio issued the following news release:
Access Hospital Dayton, LLC and its owner, Dr. John Johnson, have agreed to pay the United States $374,780 to resolve False Claims Act allegations that they knowingly caused the submission of false claims to Medicare and Medicaid for diagnostic testing.
