Maine U.S. Attorney: Former Bath Iron Works Employee Sentenced for Workers' Compensation Fraud
PORTLAND, Maine, Oct. 29 -- The U.S. Attorney for the District of Maine, Darcie N. McElwee, issued the following news release on Oct. 28, 2021:
A Scarborough man was sentenced today in U.S. District Court in Portland for filing a false document in relation to a workers' compensation claim, U.S. Attorney Darcie N. McElwee announced.
U.S. District Judge D. Brock Hornby sentenced Michael Collins, 63, to three years of probation. In addition, Judge Hornby ordered Collins to pay $12,682.74 in resti
