Sen. Markey Introduces Funding for Aviation Screeners & Threat Elimination Restoration Act
WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 -- Sen. Edward J. Markey, D-Mass., has introduced the Funding for Aviation Screeners and Threat Elimination Restoration Act (S. 2717) "to amend title 49, U.S. Code, to ensure that revenues collected from passengers as aviation security fees are used to help finance the costs of aviation security screening by repealing a requirement that a portion of such fees be credited as offsetting receipts and deposited in the general fund of the Treasury."

Sen. Warren Introduces Bill to Amend Congressional Budget & Impoundment Control Act of 1974
WASHINGTON, Sept. 15 -- Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., has introduced legislation (S. 2723) to "amend the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974 by requiring a distribution analysis of a bill or resolution under certain circumstances."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 13 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo. It was referred to the Senate Budget Committee.
