WASHINGTON, Aug. 11 -- Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., has introduced legislation (S. 2680) to "amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to impose a tax on real profits of certain corporations." The bill was introduced on Aug. 9 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Angus S. King Jr., I-Maine, Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., Edward J. Markey, D-Mass., and Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I.
