JACKSONVILLE, Florida, Aug. 11 -- Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Florida, issued the following news release on August 10, 2021:
Governor Ron DeSantis distributed one-time relief checks to first responders with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office through the 'Florida's Heroes' initiative. The Governor was joined at the event by Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams and Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry.
