Antioch College Board of Trustees Announced Fernandes as Next President
YELLOW SPRINGS, Ohio, Aug. 5 (TNSPer) -- Antioch College issued the following news on Aug. 4, 2021:
The Antioch College Board of Trustees announced today the selection of Dr. Jane Fernandes as the third president. Fernandes -- most recently president of Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina -- will join Antioch College on August 16. She will be the second female president of the College and the third president since its relaunch as an independent institution in 2010.

N.C. State Treasurer Folwell: Local Government Commission Approves Nearly $900 Million in Borrowing
RALEIGH, North Carolina, Aug. 5 -- North Carolina Department of State Treasurer Dale R. Folwell issued the following news release:
The Local Government Commission (LGC) has approved a request from Wake County to finance nearly $600 million for school and community college construction and renovation.
