Reserve Unit Commander for U.S. Transportation Command Promoted to Major General
SCOTT AFB, Illinois, June 15 -- The U.S. Department of Defense's Transportation Command issued the following news release:

The commander of U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM)'s Joint Transportation Reserve Unit (JTRU) promoted to major general in an official pinning ceremony June 12 at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.
U.S. Air Force Reserve Maj. Gen. Kenneth R. Council Jr. received his promotion via Congressional announcement effective April 29, 2021. H
