Greensboro Physician and Pain Management Practice to Pay $500,000 to Resolve Allegations of Health Care Fraud
GREENSBORO, North Carolina, May 27 -- The Acting U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of North Carolina, Sandra J. Hairston, issued the following news release on May 26, 2021:
HEAG Pain Management Center, P.A. (HEAG) and its owner, Dr. Kwadwo Gyarteng-Dakwa (Dr. Dakwa), have agreed to pay $500,000.00 to resolve allegations that HEAG and Dr. Dakwa violated the False Claims Act by billing Medicare and Medicaid for medically unnecessary diagnostic testing between January 1, 2011 and October 31, 2

WASHINGTON, May 27 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's National Park Service has issued a notice, published in the Federal Register on May 25, 2021, entitled: "National Register of Historic Places; Notification of Pending Nominations and Related Actions".
