MQ-4C Triton UAS Program Provides Fleet With 'Expeditionary' Capability to Increase Overseas Operations
PATUXENT RIVER, Maryland, April 21 -- The U.S. Naval Air Systems Command issued the following news release:
The Triton program team coordinated a C-17 airlift to move the unmanned air system's expeditionary Forward Operating Base (FOB) at Pax River to an air base in Japan April 13 in an effort to increase Triton's operational flexibility in the future.

NASA's Ingenuity Mars Helicopter Succeeds in Historic First Flight
WASHINGTON, April 20 -- NASA issued the following news release on April 19, 2021:
NASA's Ingenuity Mars Helicopter became the first aircraft in history to make a powered, controlled flight on another planet. The Ingenuity team at the agency's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California confirmed the flight succeeded after receiving data from the helicopter via NASA's Perseverance Mars rover at 6:46 a.m. EDT (3:46 a.m. PDT).
