COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 7 -- Columbus Mayor Andrew J. Ginther issued the following news release:
Columbus Mayor Andrew J. Ginther today announced Robin Davis and Kathy Owens have joined his senior leadership team in the office of the mayor. Davis will serve as deputy chief of staff for communications and Owens will serve as deputy chief of staff for policy and operations.

Ohio House Democrats: Rep. Weinstein Pens Column Calling for Repeal of Ohio's 'shoot First' Law
COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 7 -- Ohio House Democrats issued the following news on behalf of Ohio State Rep. Casey Weinstein, D-Hudson:
State Rep. Casey Weinstein (D-Hudson) penned an OpEd in the Akron Beacon Journal this week in which he called for the repeal of Ohio's new no duty to retreat law, which passed in December 2020 and is set to take effect Tuesday, April 6. Rep. Weinstein is a co-sponsor of legislation, House Bill (HB) 38, which would repeal the controversial law.
