Assumption College: Accounting Program Earns Endorsement by Institute of Management Accountants
WORCESTER, Massachusetts, Feb. 11 -- Assumption College issued the following news:
The IMA(R) (Institute of Management Accountants), an international association focused on advancing the management accounting profession, has announced that Assumption University's accounting program in the Grenon School of Business is one of eight schools to earn its endorsement for 2021. At the time of its inclusion in June 2020, Assumption was one of just three in New England to receive this endorsement.

Northwestern University: New Anti-Obesity Medication Almost Twice as Effective as Most Currently Approved Weight-Loss Drugs
EVANSTON, Illinois, Feb. 11 (TNSJou) -- Northwestern University issued the following news release:
A new anti-obesity medication was shown to be almost twice as effective at helping individuals lose weight than some of the current weight-loss drugs on the market, according to a new landmark study conducted at Northwestern Medicine and other institutions.
The drug, semaglutide, taken once a week at 2.4 mg, works by suppressing appetite centers in the brain to reduce hunger and calorie intake.
