WASHINGTON, June 27 -- The U.S. Department of Commerce announced that it expects to award up to eight cooperative agreements for projects that seek to improve and strengthen the relationship of fisheries researchers in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Texas and U.S. Virgin Islands.
