WASHINGTON, Jan. 20 -- The U.S. Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., has issued a pre-solicitation notice (AIR-2232_N00019-11-G-0001) for the upgrade of 24 F/A-18A+ Lot 8-9 aircraft with joint helmet mounted cueing system. It was posted on Jan. 19 with a response date of Feb. 3. The approved source is Boeing Co., St. Louis. . . .
