WASHINGTON, Sept. 4 -- The U.S. Navy issued the following high-value contract information through the Pentagon on Aug. 30, 2024. DEFENSE MARITIME SOLUTIONS INC., Chesapeake, Virginia, was awarded a $16,387,030 firm-fixed-priced stand-alone contract (N00104-24-C-YB16) for the manufacture of 12 main shaft seal assemblies in support of the submarine main propulsion system on Virginia-class submarines. The contract has no options. All work will be performed in Havant, Hampshire, United Kingdom. Work . . .
