WASHINGTON, Aug. 13 -- The U.S. Navy issued the following high-value contract information through the Pentagon dated July 31, 2024. HUNTINGTON INGALLS INC., Newport News, Virginia, was awarded a $11,717,322 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-19-C-2100) to procure additional support for pre-advanced planning for Nimitz (CVN 68) class aircraft carrier defueling and inactivation.
