WASHINGTON, Dec. 17 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issued the following high-value contract information through the Pentagon on Dec. 15, 2023. SHIMMICK CONSTRUCTION CO. INC., Irvine, California, was awarded a $9,881,973 modification to contract (W912P5-17-C-0007) for steel and concrete overruns for the Chickamauga Lock replacement project. Work will be performed in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Fiscal 2021 civil construction funds in the amount of $9,881,973 were obligated at the time of the awar . . .
