WASHINGTON, Aug. 23 -- The U.S. Army issued the following high-value contract information through the Pentagon on Aug. 21, 2023. AMERICAN ORDNANCE LLC, Middletown, Iowa, was awarded an $8,841,637 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (W519TC-23-F-0388) to design and build a new X-ray system for large caliber ammunition. Work will be performed in Middletown, Iowa. The Army Contracting Command, Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois, is the contracting activity.[DODBT] . . .
