WASHINGTON, April 1 -- The U.S. Navy issued the following high-value contract information through the Pentagon on March 29, 2023. SILVER SHIPS INC., Theodore, Alabama, was awarded an $8,496,795 firm-fixed-price modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-22-C-2223) for Marine Corps assault amphibian safety vessels. Work will be performed in Theodore, Alabama. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.[DODBT] . . .
