WASHINGTON, Sept. 4 -- Independence Construction Inc., Eureka, Mont., won a $194,886 federal contract from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Forest Service, Golden, Colo., for the removal of existing corrugated steel culverts on Smith and Condon Creeks and replacing each with new prestressed precast concrete single span bridges. Place of performance will be in Missoula county, Mont. . . .
