WASHINGTON, Oct. 28 -- DRS SYSTEMS, Melbourne, Florida, won a federal contract award for $3,339,498 from the U.S. Navy, Patuxent River, Maryland, for non-recurring engineering, to include engineering development models and production representative models of sensors, processors, lasers and fiber optic cable assemblies of the AN/AAQ-45 system of the Distributed Aperture Infrared Countermeasures (DAIRCM) program to support the Army and Air Force.
