WASHINGTON, Oct. 5 -- ARCHER WESTERN CONSTRUCTION, Irving, Texas, won a federal contract award for $55,250,465 from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans, Louisiana, for the replacement of the Charenton floodgate on the Atchafalaya River levee at the St. Mary Levee District in Louisiana.
