WASHINGTON, July 17 -- AMHERST SYSTEMS, Buffalo, New York, won a federal contract award for $4,999,999 from the U.S. Air Force, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, for the construction of a Guided Weapons Evaluation Facility (GWEF) radio frequency threat simulator (RFTS) electronic warfare threat generation system (TGS) for a hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) simulator.
