WASHINGTON, Jan. 10 -- Southwestern Energy Co. (SWN), Houston , has filed a Form 4 with the Securities and Exchange Commission noting the change in the beneficial interest held by Senior VP for Subsidiary Jeffrey B. Sherrick, Houston.

On Dec. 11, 2008 the action involved acquisition of 4,240 shares of stock. Sherrick now owns 25,240 shares of stock directly. . . .
