WASHINGTON, May 28 -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issued the following high-value contract information through the Pentagon on May 24, 2021:

LAKEY INC., Lufkin, Texas, was awarded a $13,317,591 firm-fixed-price contract (W912P8-21-C-0006) for excavation of a segment of the Comite River Diversion earthen channel.

Work will be performed in East Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with an estimated completion date of Aug. 1, 2022.
