Ala. U.S. Attorney: Convicted Felon Sentenced to 13 Years in Prison for Gun and Drug Crimes
BIRMINGHAM, Alabama, Aug. 22 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama issued the following news release on Aug. 21, 2024:
A convicted felon pleaded guilty and was sentenced today for possessing drugs and a firearm, announced U.S. Attorney Prim F. Escalona and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Special Agent in Charge Marcus Watson.
U.S. District Judge Madeline Haikala sentenced Nathaniel Kasheen Rembert, 37, of Bessemer, to 156 months in prison.

A Texas woman pleaded guilty today to felony and misdemeanor charges related to her conduct during the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol.
