WASHINGTON, Aug. 22 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia issued the following news release on Aug. 21, 2024:
A Texas woman pleaded guilty today to felony and misdemeanor charges related to her conduct during the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol. Her actions and the actions of others disrupted a joint session of the U.S. Congress convened to ascertain and count the electoral votes related to the 2020 presidential election.
