SPRINGFIELD, Illinois, May 11 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - Illinois Field Office issued the following news release: Winter Wheat: Harvested area in 2024 is forecast at 680,000 acres, down 13 percent from the previous year.
