ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 15 -- Acupac Packaging, Mahwah, New Jersey, has been assigned a patent (9,839,693) developed by two co-inventors for "anhydrous hydrogel composition and delivery system." The co-inventors are John Borja, Keyport, New Jersey, and Stephanie Sharon Hayano, Millerton, New York. The abstract states: "The present disclosure relates to anhydrous hydrogels useful as mucoadhesive (oral compositions) or as topical agents and may be used to deliver an active agent such as active pharm . . .
