ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 25 -- BASF, Ludwigshafen, Germany, has been assigned a patent (8,039,568) developed by Son Nguyen-Kim, Hemsbach, Germany, Gabi Winter, Ludwigshafen, Germany, and Matthias Laubender, Schifferstadt, Germany, for an "anionic ethyl methacrylate copolymers and use thereof."
