GENEVA, Oct. 6 - Jochen Barnikel of Mulheim an der Ruhr, Germany, and Friedhelm Schmitz of Dinslaken, Germany, have developed a turbine component.
According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the invention relates to the "use of thermal insulation layers on steam power plant components and substantially comprises an adhesive layer and/or an erosive protection layer."
