ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 6 -- Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, and Methodist Hospital, Houston, have been assigned a patent (9,456,784) developed by two co-inventors for a "method and apparatus for providing transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to a patient." The co-inventors are Santosh A. Helekar, Sugar Land, Texas, and Henning U. Voss, New York.
